What we collect

When you complete a form on this website, we collect the information you voluntarily provide — typically your name, business name, and email address. If you subscribe to the Operator Note newsletter or download a resource (such as our checkup worksheets), we collect your email address to send the resource, newsletter, and relevant follow-up. When you book an introductory call, our scheduling platform collects your contact details and meeting preferences. We do not collect payment information on this site.

How we use it

We use your contact information solely to respond to your inquiry and to follow up with relevant information about our services. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, except where you ask us to introduce you to a partner (for example, Brevo) and consent on the relevant form, and except to the extent that third-party analytics and advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel) collect technical identifiers if you opt in, as described under Cookies & your choices below.

This website uses third-party services that may process your data:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — we use GA4 to collect aggregated, anonymized information regarding page views, session duration, operating systems, and referral sources. Meta Pixel — we utilize the Meta Pixel to evaluate the effectiveness of our direct-to-consumer educational campaigns and event marketing. The pixel allows us to measure actions taken by visitors who navigate to our site from Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Meta Privacy Policy

Brevo — a partner whose CRM and email platform we use and recommend. If you submit the “Request a Brevo introduction” form on our Partners page, the information you provide (name, company, email, and message) is stored in HubSpot and shared with Brevo so a Brevo representative can contact you, and we may receive a referral commission. Buffer — a partner whose social publishing platform we use and recommend. Our Buffer links are referral links, so Buffer may tell us when you sign up through them and we may earn a commission. We do not send Buffer any information you submit on this site. Buffer Privacy Policy

Fantastical (Flexibits) — our scheduling tool for introductory calls. When you schedule an appointment through Fantastical, information you provide (name, email address, notes, and time zone) is processed by Flexibits to confirm and calendar the meeting. Flexibits Privacy Policy

WhatsApp (Meta) — an optional messaging channel for direct communication. If you initiate contact via WhatsApp, your message content and phone number are processed subject to WhatsApp’s terms. WhatsApp Privacy Policy

Cookies & your choices

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies. Both are off until you opt in:

• Analytics — allows Google Analytics 4 to load and set cookies.
• Advertising — allows the Meta Pixel to load and set cookies.

If you decline, neither service loads and neither sets cookies on your device. HubSpot’s tracking code loads to display the banner and record your choice. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered on your device until you clear your cookies. We also support recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
